"What I've been through."

Hi, Assalamualaikum. I just came back from Pekanbaru, Indonesia on Sunday, 3rd of October. I'm currently having a fever, running nose and headache. Getting better, Alhamdulillah. So, I went to Pekanbaru for 3 days 1 night. It was awesome. The food was scrumptious! Delicious!

Siak's Generation.

1. Yes, you may now call me Puteri Qistina Nur Hidayah. I have cousins from Indonesia that relates to my grandmother. It's quite hard to explain, I even seem to confuse myself with these large amount of family members. They are not fully Indonesians, they are Minang and their great great grand parents are the King and Queen of Siak, Indonesia. Get it? I know you don't. Even I don't understand. But, what I know is I'm mix with Siak. I'm the generation of Siak. Hi :3

Wealthy People. 

2. For what I've observed, most of them use Blackberry. Who says, Indonesians are not rich? I got to tweet using Buncik's Blackberry Torch. It was huge and it also is a touch screen phone. So, kiranya macam 2 in 1. Not to say they are very rich, but they can afford everything. They have lots of companies to work on and yes, they are very hard working people. I'm quite surprise that a 12-year-old boy, already owned a blackberry. Wow :/

Friendly And Very Welcoming People. 

3. They are super friendly and they really love to joke around. I feel that they have known us, the comers for ages. They way they treat us, is like we are from King, Queen, princesses and princes from Malaysia. They are so welcoming. They take and drop us at the hotel during the days when we were in Pekanbaru. We didn't spend a Rupiah on taxis at all. They tend to have lots of cars and one the them owns a rental cars company for occasions.

4. The food is just unexplainable. Unexplainable. Buncik's Nasi Padang was fantastastica! Every house we visit, cooked Nasi Padang. So, I made a conclusion on why I'm sick now is because I eat too much Nasi Padang. Haha but seriously their Nasi Padang is scrumptious. In conclusion, Asians are best for their food.




Braces Ge-Girls.

You think they wear braces because their teeth are ugly? Think again.

5. Their parents don't mind spending money to do braces for their kids even if their kids' teeth are already looking good. Now, that is what I call rich. To them, money is easy come and easy go. Doing braces there are cheap like 7,000,000 Rp is equivalent to RM 2,560. Hmm

14-year-old Teenagers Can Take A Driving Licence.

6. I was in a great shock when Mutia, my cousin who shares the same age and also one day after my birthday already have a driving licence. Ok what? Look at me. I only know how to cycle in my neighbourhood. Wow, I just can't believe it :0 I'm going to cry now....

Susilo Bambang Is Brilliant.

7. Just so you know, this is not a train. This is a public transportation - a bus. These buses don't have steps so  that's probably will prevent people from pushing each other to get into the bus. Their bus stations are safe and clean. There will be a guard collecting money for those who will ride the bus so that will decreases the time taken for the driver to collect money from the passengers every time they wanted to have a ride. Bambang is just, brilliant. 

Harimau Malaya Comes To Indonesia. 

8. Believe it or not, I wore Harimau Malaya jersey to Indonesia. For what I've seen, they were shocked to see me on that night. Of course they got their faces covered with smiles. I'm afraid they were mad at me and say "kurang ajar sih, itu Christina. Ngapain die pakae baju Malaysia. Gue tahu Malaysia meneng dalam Piale AFF Suzuki itu dong. Ngak puas hati ni. Waduh" Watlek watpeace. Lol, I was just testing their emotions. What will they do and all. Lol ok

Precious Moment. 

9. It was a great holiday. Reason why Adam got his head wrapped is because he accidentally banged his head on a pole which has 4 sharp edges. Dangerous gila. Hahah! He is so funny and mischievous. 

True cousins. 

9. Who would know I have found super zuper friendly cousins? Anyway, I really hope I can meet them again. They treated me like a princess. They are super kind, funny and they don't look upon ages. They really being themselves and think there's no point of judging. We are all humans. After all, yes I'm starting to love them ♥
